We are proud to announce Matomo 3.7.0: a new release of Matomo Analytics.

What’s new?

The Matomo theme now uses our new logo and updated colors, check it out at: demo.matomo.cloud

And Matomo now includes our free & fully open source Tag Manager!

Several large-traffic production websites are successfully using the Tag Manager for the past two months and enjoying the simplicity and flexibility of the tool. Anyone who knows Google Tag Manager will be able to quickly master Matomo Tag Manager. This changelog will now also list all improvements made to the Tag Manager in a new section below. If you are a developer, we’re looking for contributors to submit & add new Tags to our list, please join us on Github.

Security release

This release is rated critical.

Several XSS issues were responsibly disclosed and fixed in this release.
Our security bug bounty program welcomes & rewards researchers who discover and responsibly report to us any security issues found in Matomo or any of the plugins created by Matomo/InnoCraft.

Database upgrade

This release does not contain any major database upgrade.

Platform Changes

Matomo is an open analytics platform. In an effort to help Matomo developers learn about improvements and changes in the core APIs, we document the changes since the last release.

In this 3.7.0 release there are no changes or new features. Read more in Platform Changelog for Developers to see all changes to the platform and APIs.

Note: the Marketplace showcases more than 80 plugins already compatible with Matomo 3 and this is just the beginning. Matomo is your universal data analytics platform!
