When using the Matomo for WordPress WordPress plugin, you may encounter some technical issues, especially if you are hosted by:

Bluehost: Bluehost may install an incompatible plugin which generates a fatal error. Disabling this plugin solves the problem. Some users have also reported needing to update PHP ini settings on Bluehost.
GoDaddy: GoDaddy has updated its web servers configuration, which now leads to a 403 error when accessing Matomo.
Altervista: The Altervista WordPress hosting seems to not be supporting MySQL InnoDB engine. For now, we do not support other MySQL engines than InnoDB. You can bypass this problem with the solutions provided in this issue’s topic.
