Only Matomo users with Billing Owner permissions can manage billing details and subscription settings. If you do not see the Billing menu in your Matomo account, it means you are not a Billing Owner.

Only Billing Owners can grant Billing Owner permissions.

If you are unsure who your current Billing Owners are, contact your organisation’s Matomo administrator; or contact Matomo Cloud support if your Billing Owner has left your company.

  1. In Matomo, navigate to Administration Settings Settings Cog Icon > Billing.
  2. Click on Billing Owners.
  3. Enter the username or email address of the existing Matomo user you want to promote.
  4. Click on the plus button to grant Billing Owner permissions.
  5. To remove a user as a Billing Owner, click the minus button next to the user’s name.
