Roles and Responsibilities 🚀
As a UX Engineer, you will uniquely blend the roles of design and development within our organisation. You will be part of our core team—one of four squads—taking on responsibilities that cover approximately 50% UX design and 50% UI development. This role is critical as you will be the primary driver of both the creative and technical aspects of our application interfaces. You will report to the Core Team Lead for development-related tasks and to a Senior Product Manager for UX design initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop the visual and interactive user interface elements of our application.
- Translate conceptual design ideas into usable and efficient application interfaces.
- Manage front-end development, ensuring alignment with UX principles to optimize usability.
- Lead user testing and feedback sessions to refine functionality and design.
- Maintain a balance between UX design and UI development to meet project deadlines and objectives effectively.
Minimum qualifications 🤓
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in UX engineering, encompassing both UX design and front-end development.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Vue.js with knowledge of PHP.
- Familiarity with accessibility needs and WCAG compliant design.
- Strong skills in Figma or equivalent tools.
- Experience serving as the sole designer and developer of user interfaces, capable of translating user and business needs into functional digital experiences.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on user-centered design.
- Highly desirable to have experience with modern data analytics solutions, such as Matomo, Google Analytics, Hotjar, Amplitude, or Mixpanel.
