How can I share a report with others who don’t have access to the connector?

When using the Matomo Connector for Looker Studio, it is possible to share the reports with anyone through a variety of methods. Simply click the Share button at the top right of the screen to reveal the sharing options:

  • Invite people allows you to invite via email or links with Viewer or Editor roles.
  • Schedule delivery enables you to periodically send out the reports.
  • Get report link allows you to share a custom link to the report.
  • Download report allows you to download a PDF version of the current data.

People invited with the Editor role, who don’t have access to Matomo or the connector will be able to view and manipulate the configured data sources. However, they will not be able to add a new data source.
