How do I update the currency used in the website?

There may be scenarios where you may want to update the currency used in your reporting, at times it is possible that a wrong currency was chosen during the addition of website in Matomo.

To change the currency of a given website in the Matomo:

  1. Login to Matomo as Super User
  2. Click on “Administration (cog icon)” on the top right
  3. Click on “Websites/Measurable > Manage” on the left menu
  4. Click on “Edit” and scroll down to Currency
  5. Choose the appropriate currency from dropdown
  6. Save
