With Custom Alerts in Matomo, you can monitor the traffic and performance of funnels by receiving notifications when important changes occur. Instead of manually checking reports, you can define conditions that trigger alerts based on trends, conversions, or funnel activity.

  1. To set up alerts for funnels, go to Administration Settings Cog Icon > Personal > Alerts.
  2. Select receive alerts by Email, Mobile, or Slack, and configure the format that best fits your workflow.

  4. In the Alert Condition, select Funnels and choose which funnel to monitor.

  5. Choose a part of the funnel to get alerts on. Each option focuses on a different level of analysis:
    • Funnel: Flow monitors traffic changes across individual funnel steps.
    • Funnel: Detail provides granular monitoring for specific steps.
    • Funnel: Summary aggregates overall funnel performance to detect increases or decreases in total traffic and conversions for the entire funnel.
