What are 'Actions' in Matomo? FAQ - General - Matomo Analytics Platform

An Action in Matomo is counted whenever a visitor:

visits a Page,
clicks on a Download or on an external link,
when a visitor searches on your website search engine,
whenever an event is tracked.

In Matomo reporting interface, all reports related to your visitors’ actions are listed under the left menu category Behaviour.
