Is it complicated to setup the tracking of online forms?

No, in most cases everything works out of the box. You don’t even have to change the tracking code. Matomo (Piwik) will automatically discover your forms and starts measuring how visitors use them. For Matomo to detect when one of your forms is converted, it is recommended to specify when a form should be counted as converted, by going to “Administration => Forms”. There you will also be able to change the display name for a form (used in all form reports and in segments) and more.
