How far back can raw data be exported using the BigQuery & Data Warehouse feature?

You can backfill historical data and export raw data as far back as Matomo is configured to retain raw data. This will depend on the data retention policy defined in Matomo Administration > Privacy > Anonymize data.

With Matomo Cloud, you can keep an unlimited amount of report data, but your plan limits the amount of raw data. Setting data retention policies enhances the privacy of your website visitors, and in some jurisdictions, there is a legal requirement to limit the retention of personal data for no longer than necessary.
