Why do I still see “keyword not defined” in some of my reports?

Google Search Console only provides aggregated keyword data and does not share keyword information at the individual visitor or session level. As a result, Matomo cannot associate specific search keywords with individual visits, actions, or conversions.

Matomo does not have access to the data for “keyword per visitor” so keywords cannot be shown in the Visitor Log or Visitor Profiles. Additionally, Goal conversion rates cannot be attributed to individual keywords.

Google Search Console keyword data is instead available in aggregated reports in Acquisition > Search Engines & Keywords.
