What do I need to import my Google Search Keywords?

Search Engine Keywords Performance is a premium feature included in all our Cloud-hosted plans. On-Premise users can purchase and install the plugin from the Matomo Marketplace.

Before importing Google Search Keywords into Matomo, you will need the following:

  • Superuser access in Matomo.
  • An active Google account.
  • Set up Google Search Console and verify your website property. Read the setup guide.

Once your website has been verified in Google Search Console, you can configure the Google Search Keywords import in Matomo.

If using Matomo Cloud, it is recommended to use the Quick Connect option for a faster and easier keywords import to Matomo Cloud.
