How do I completely disable the Two-factor feature in Matomo?

It is usually not recommended to disable Two-Factor authentication feature in Matomo. However, if a user lost the mobile device, or lost your two factor authenticator app, it is possible to deactivate 2FA for the user so that the user can login again.

A more insecure solution is to deactivate the TwoFactorAuth plugin by running the following console command in the Matomo directory:
