Mediawiki is the wiki software used to power Wikipedia. It is also used by thousands of websites and companies.
Isaac, a spanish Matomo (Piwik) user, has built a plugin to easily integrate Matomo and provide analytics for your Mediawiki installation.
His plugin is hosted on the official Mediawiki website. It provides some extra features: it excludes the views of the users with ‘bot’ privileges (bots) and the ‘protect’ privileges (sysops). You can also access a Matomo “Special page” to access some reports:
