Congratulations! You’ve completed Getting Started with Matomo.
You didn’t just click through a tutorial. You now have the foundations of a Matomo setup you can actually use.
Look at everything you’ve done:
✓ Matomo is tracking your website or product
✓ You’ve seen real visitor data coming in
✓ You’ve reviewed your essential privacy settings
✓ You know where to find your key reports
✓ You’re measuring your first meaningful conversion
✓ You’ve built a dashboard with the numbers that matter to you
That’s a lot. Your Matomo essentials are now set up! 🎉
You do not need to learn everything else today. From here, what you explore depends on what you want to achieve.
Take a moment, that is the foundation everything else builds on.
Choose what you want to do next
You have the essentials. When you want more, choose the direction that matches what you need now. No need to do them all, just pick one when you are ready.

Keep the habit
Your setup now works for you, quietly, in the background. To get the most from it:
• Open your dashboard once a week
• Watch your conversion and your top channels
• Act on what changes
And if you ever get stuck, the Need Help? page has your back.
One last thing
You don’t need to become a Matomo expert overnight.
You already have what you need to start collecting useful data, understanding what your visitors are doing, and measuring what matters to your organisation.
Come back to these lessons whenever you need a refresher, and explore the next topics when they become useful to you.
Congratulations again. Welcome to analytics done right, and done by you :)
Your Matomo journey has officially started! 🚀
